The impossible has finally happened. In Plato has reached 1000 hits. Who would have thought when the blog first started. Even 200 or 300 sounded like a lot. Bring on 2000! I will have to make In Plato t-shirts in honor of this achievement - to be sold on the website for a reasonable price.

The original is by Fleetwood Mac. It's a great song. Supposedly Stevie Nicks wrote it when she was 27. I'll have to see if it has more meaning for me now since I'm the same age. The Dixie Chicks did a nice cover as well.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but the Inplato view count has remained stuck on 970, even though I know many of you continue to visit the site to stay on top of all that is important in the world of cultural. What makes this a tragedy, is that now In Plato will never reach 1,000 hits, when there was going to be large celebrations in honor of the accomplishment. Someone out there really does not want it to happen. If you turn yourself in, I will make sure you get a lenient court sentence.
